Call for abstracts: 2024 International Conference on Smart Water Conservancy and Application of Geographic Information Science and Technology

With the acceleration of global climate change, ocean and environmental shifts, and the impact of human activities, issues such as water resource depletion, water pollution, flood and drought disasters, and water security risks are becoming increasingly severe. To fully leverage the role of sky-space-ground observation and geographic information science and technology in improving water infrastructure and modernizing water network systems, and to enhance the digitization, networking, and intelligence of water management, the 2024 International Conference on Applications of Smart Water Resources and Geographic Information Science and Technology is scheduled to be held in Shanghai from September 25 to 29, 2024.

The conference aims to create an international academic exchange platform that encourages broad participation from industry, academia, research, application, management, and other fields. This will be achieved through invited presentations by renowned domestic and international experts and scholars, thematic research achievement reports, technical product promotions from enterprises and institutions, and Belt and Road smart water resources training.
