Needs assessment for capacity development for IMBER in the Asia-Pacific region

Together with capacity building experts from other organizations, members of the IMBER Capacity Building Task Team conducted research using a case study approach to assess capacity building efforts undertaken in the Asia-Pacific region, and hold an international workshop on July 31st to August 4th, 2012 in State Key Laboratory of Estuarine and Coastal Research (SKLEC), East China Normal University (ECNU), Shanghai, China. This workshop facilitated analysis and evaluation of these efforts and identify capacity development needs that still need to be addressed.
