During February 23-28, 2014, nine scientists from SKLEC attended the Ocean Science Meeting held in Hawaii, USA. They presented their recent studies with oral or poster presentations, and advertised SKLEC with an exhibition booth. Recruiting new staffs is one of the main purposes of the SKLEC booth. We attracted many participants, especially young Chinese scholars abroad.

The Ocean Science Meeting is the highest international congress in the field of ocean sciences. The meeting includes over 5,000 oral and poster presentations, stimulating plenary talks and a refreshing keynote.

The Ocean Science Meeting provided a very good platform for SKLEC scientists to communicate with world scientists from all over the world.
