Research Position

2004- present: Associate Professor, State Key Laboratory of Estuarine and Coastal Research,ECNU,China.

Study on the application of remote sensing and GIS in coastal and estuarine area. Involving field investigations, coastal and estuarine spatial information extracting, suspended sediment concentration analyzing with remote sensing data, DEM building and data mining of estuarine tidal flat. Teaching graduate student geomatics course.

2002-2004: Post-doctoral Researcher, State Key Laboratory of Coastal and Estuarine Research,ECNU,China.

Mainly studies on coastal and estuarine deposition and erosion changes using GIS technology, on salt marshes change, coastal landuse and landcover change by comparing remote sensing images.
